Ronnie Anderson

Ronnie Anderson (Dancer) is a graduate from the University of Georgia. He received his Bachelor’s in Advertising from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He completed his dance minor May 2016 in the UGA Department of Dance. During his five years in UGA’s Department of Dance, Ronnie has performed with CORE Concert Dance Company (Contemporary & Aerial Dance) for three years, under the artistic direction of Bala Sarasvati; Young Choreographers Series (student choreography show); Guest Artists’ works for Spring Dance Company; and the Contemporary African Dance Ensemble: New Conscious Explorations (CADE:NCE), under the artistic direction of Tamara Thomas for two seasons. While participating with these various companies at UGA, Ronnie was afforded the opportunities to perform for LIMS Laban Mosaic at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, Midtown, NYC (2015); American College Dance Association in Milledgeville and Tampa (2015 & 2017); Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica (2017); American Dance Festival Summer Intensive at Duke (Summer 2017); the Collegium of African Diasporic Dance at Duke University (2018); and Brooklyn Academy of Music (2018).
