Bree Buxton
Bree Buxton (Dancer) a native of Atlanta, began her dance career at the age of 2 at her mother’s dance school “N Motion Dance.†She was on their award-winning competitive dance team until 2010. In 2011 she continued her technical training at Dance Makers of Atlanta and was accepted to Tri-Cities Visual and Performing Arts Magnet High School. Training under Dawn Axam, Diane Sales, Roscoe Sales, Jelani Jones, and countless others. During her time at Tri-Cities, Bree has performed in several major productions including “Chicago†and “Dream Girlsâ€; she was also crowned “Ms. Dance 2013.” As a high school senior, she was awarded a spot in the “Governors Honors Program†(GHP) and received a scholarship from Atlanta Ballet. Bree is currently a company member with the “Axam Dance Theatre Experienceâ€. She has performed in the professional shows “Clara and the Chocolate Nutcracker”, “Oz”, and “Black Nativity.” Although Bree has a love for dance, she is currently earning her B.B.A in Accountancy at Georgia State University.
